The Butlers Christmas Charity Quiz

Hosted once again by the very charming and mostly politically correct* Keith Ward.
*this statement may not be entirely true.
We are of course missing our other host Chris, but all the more reason to raise some money for these wonderful charities and the incredible work they do!
Raffle Tickets will be sold over the bar at £5 a strip.

This quiz is definitely for over 18s!
The host is not generally THAT OFFENSIVE*
However, we cannot guarantee that he won’t make inappropriate jokes.

This is our great big, not very polite, often downright rude, not in the least bit respectable and sometimes a little bit sweary, but not too much in case we offend
(I mean no one minds the odd f**k do they?) Quiz.
Questions will range from (mostly) General Knowledge to a few more random and obscure.
Our aim is for you guys have a fun night out whilst raising money for charities that are very close to all of our hearts.
N.B. The restaurant will be closed.
However bar snacks, burgers etc will be available 6pm-8pm.
We’ll be taking bookings this time around so please give us a call on 01213080765 to reserve your table! Max 6 per team (we think lots of teams of 4 would be ideal).

Christmas Band Night with Tony Skeggs
Thursday 11th December
Live from 9pm
Fresh from his latest stint at Liverpool’s Cavern Club the incredible Tony Skeggs will be with us live for a cheeky pre-Christmas party!
Tony is and has been a resident performer at the Cavern Club for many years and has also just finished touring with The Bootleg Sixties.
There’s not a song from the 60’s or 70’s that Tony doesn’t know which is why
we call him the human jukebox!
With his charm, charisma and down right cheek, he’s the perfect performer!
Get your requests on the go but be ready for some Dylan, Stones, Beatles
and some truly terrible jokes.
The pub was packed last time Tony was playing so this is going to be a very busy night, so please get down early if you want to secure a table!
The Butlers Christmas Eve Party

Free Entry.
Come and join us to celebrate Christmas Eve in style with festive music and good cheer. (wow – that was cheesy!)
The wonderful DJ Hinsley will start about 8pm –
No tickets but if you want a table it is recommended to arrive early as we do get really busy.
Last year was a party to remember and we think this year is going to be even better!
Please note the restaurant will be closing at 2.30pm.

New Year’s Eve
New Year’s Eve is filling up very fast right now.
We have the very wonderful 3’s a Crowd playing the New Year in this year.
It was a bloody great atmosphere last year and will no doubt be as good if not better this year!
We have very limited tables left for dinner, please check back to our menu page in a few weeks when we release our festive menus.
If you just fancy coming in and joining us for a drink (or several) and a bit of a party, we have a limited amount of bar tickets available which will be going on sale on
Friday 21st November at £15 each
– Tickets to be purchased over the bar.
Please note that tickets sell out VERY quickly – sold out in less than an hour last year.
