Friday 20th March was a desperately sad day for us when we had to shut our doors.
Our staff are all now furloughed. We believe that this is categorically the best option for them, and for us.
We have been asked many times in the last week how we’re going to survive: It is obviously a difficult situation, not just for us, but for a great many small businesses. The government schemes are proving helpful and it looks like our landlords are being pragmatic, so it’s do-able.
A good number of our guests have messaged us asking if they can buy vouchers for use when we reopen – a sort of savings scheme!
